Blended training combines self-paced multi-media online training modules for the cognitive portion of CPR and First Aid, with traditional instructor led classroom instruction for the hands-on portions.
How it works:
Schedule the training program of your choice, giving students one month to access and complete the on-line portion.
You will receive access codes for the students to log-on. Students can take the program as often as needed. When they successfully complete the program, they will receive a certificate for this portion.
Our professional CPR/FA instructor will come out and conduct the hands-on portion for small groups of 4 or less students. Up to three sessions (each ½ hour in length) can be scheduled on the same day.
It’s that easy! After the hands-on portion students will immediately receive their 2-year certification card.
Your CPR Blended training class will reduce training time and costs. The computer portion can be completed from any Internet accessible computer 24 hours a day, which allows greater flexibility for the student’s cognitive training sessions. Student time varies depending on their previous knowledge of CPR. Remediation is allowed and encouraged, students can take the cognitive portion of the class as many times as necessary to successfully complete the program, for one flat price.
The hands-on skills testing is shorter and easier to schedule, reducing employee downtime and possible overtime pay or replacement employees. The hands-on portion of the class can be schedule for small groups of less than 4 people in half-hour segments. For 12 or less students you are allowed up to three hands-on sessions.
Students take the cognitive portion of CPR training on-line. Then complete a follow-up test to confirm comprehension of class materials. Upon completion of the online portion test results can be printed and class completion will be stored electronically for future reference. When all employees have completed the cognitive portion of the CPR training and completed the testing portion, a professional instructor will come out on site to teach and test the didactic (hands on) skills of CPR and choking.
