A score of 80% is required to pass. Upon completion of our training courses, a pop-up box will appear with your results that will tell you if you passed, or if you need to repeat the training and/or testing module(s) again. In addition, on your training homepage, a pass bar will light up when you have successfully completed the course. Upon passing, the Print bar appears, allowing you to print your certificate. We recommend taking the practice test as many times as you need, before taking the final test at the end of the course.

How will my company benefit from your online medical training courses?
-
Employers achieve significant savings with on-line and "blended training"(combined on-line/hands-on classroom instruction). The major cost associated with training is typically employee wages, not the actual training program cost. Using "blended training" decreases the classroom hours required to complete training and simplifies the logistics. Traditional CPR & AED classes require the employer to pay employee wages for 4 to 6 hours of training. For example, using our "Blended On-line/Hands-on Training Program, " employees spend 1 hour online completing our CPR & AED training modules and 1 hour with a qualified instructor completing a hands-on skills verification. This decreases classroom training by more than 67%, and overall training time by 50%.
-
Furthermore, "blended training" simplifies the logistics of training. The on-line training may be completed anytime from anywhere. If skills verification is required or desired, employers will find more flexibility in scheduling a 1 hour class, rather than a 4-6 hour class. Many times, the 1 hour on-site training sessions can be completed before or after a shift. And for those remote locations, online training sessions can be completed without the additional expense of travel time.
-
Moreover, all of our online training courses include access to our Proprietary Learning Management System (LMS) that tracks employees' training and testing results, manages the enrollment and certification process, sends out email notifications of upcoming refresher and/or re-certification training sessions and provides reports documenting compliance with regulatory standards. This provides employers with instantaneous access to their most up-to-date training records online. Our LMS is located at www.emergencyuniversity.com/admin.

Skills verification is intended to ensure that the student is competent and confident in performing his/her skills. It is up to you, the instructor, to determine whether a student has achieved that goal. Feedback from instructors who currently use "blended training" is that approximately 10 students can achieve a satisfactory level of performance per hour using one instructor.
